A Southbank serviced-apartment and hotel-room programme where Specific provided end-to-end warehousing, logistics and installation support for joinery and FF&E across a high-volume accommodation tower.
The project-sheet detail identifies receipt of freight, warehouse storage, scheduled delivery and unpacking of joinery across rooms, coordination with on-site trades, project-manager oversight and product sign-off through final client walk-through.
Delivery challenge
A 40-storey environment with hotel rooms and serviced apartments creates repeated room logic at scale. Every delivery window, lift movement, unpacking sequence and trade interface needed to protect programme momentum.
Specific methodology
Specific controlled the project through freight receipt, storage allocation, scheduled release, room-by-room unpacking, trade coordination, issue escalation and close-out sign-off against client requirements.
Outcome
Oakwood adds a substantial Melbourne accommodation proof point that connects Specific’s warehouse discipline directly to installed-room readiness in a vertical tower environment.
Image evidence
Real project proof.
The gallery combines supplied project photographs, operational warehouse proof and selected editorial plates where the project needs either visual depth or confidentiality protection.
The supplied sheet records the scale: 40 storeys, 132 hotel rooms and 260 serviced apartments.
End-to-end warehousing and logistics are visible in the real equipment imagery now added to the library.
Protected storage supports scheduled delivery and unpacking across multiple room types and levels.
